Mary Ward Matric. Higher Sec. School is situated in lush green village at Mittapalli, near Uthangarai. It is a minority school founded on June 1st ,2001 to provide an all-round education to the children of surrounding area. The school caters to the educational needs of all sections of the society, regardless of caste, creed or financial status. The students are prepared for the Matriculation Board.

In 2016 the school was upgraded to Mary Ward Matric Higher Secondary School. During the past 22 years the school has provided quality education for all those who came to the portals of Mary Ward Matric Higher Secondary School.
